Next, drag and drop songs to DJ in the two turn tables. Search soundcloud on the top right hand corner for songs you want to mix. You have a few effects: ECHO, CHORUS, FILTER, and LOFI.

ECHO, you hvae delay and reverb. You want to add as much delay and reverb for  your drops. Then click reset when the riser drop is finish aka the build.

Chorus is the create some depth or weird sound.

Filter is basically to create your own cutoff filter drop into the next song or transition.

Lofi is for distortion of sound.

Basically, this is great free APP on your google chrome browser for DJing. There is plethora of songs on soundcloud one can choose from. You can mix a lot of different mixes. It's fun. If you have nothing to do and want to try your hands on free DJing software. Until Am is it.

Reduce the resolution of vst in fl studios

Currently there is now way to do it except to have external monitor with higher resolution. An alternative solution is to detach your vst from the DAW. This is an issue for most laptop computers. Most laptop computers ship with 1366x768 pixels.

Drop arrow all way down to detach and it should look like this.

Hopefully, detaching your vst will give you enough room to see your vst and play with it. Currently, their is no vst scale solution. In near future, hopefully vst makers come ship with lower resolution skins of vsts to accommodate for those that don't have 720p or 1080p resolution monitors supported.

Who is this Seamlessr guy? Hmm? I really don't know. Well I believe he comes from rock background. He has mastered the sound design and the automations. Most importantly he makes it all in fl studios another kudos.

You can tell this guy spent countless hours on his songs and learning the software. He's going to be the next big producer. I wish him luck.

Well the sounds he makes are all made from additive synthesis from Harmor a great fl studio plugin. Comparable to Native instrument massive. Beautiful beautiful dubstep wobbles can be made from it. FL Studio is the king of DAWs. That enough will put it on top and make it run for it's money. Remember it's the producer behind the music.

How are musicians today making money

How are musicians today making money? Hmmm? I think mostly through shows and gigs. Not, only you have to be a good performer/producer. It's a mixture of both. Most importantly people have to like you.

Don't be a douche bag, be amiable. Be nice to everyone. Nobody likes a douche bag! Other than that have awesome music. If your going to be diva like cough......... all pop stars in the music biz signed by Universal/Time Warner, but not all those big label people are bad. I don't want to bash them.

Remember who to thank to get them there. Producers, the label, composers, and marketers to get them there. The marketer did all of the work. Almost anyone could make a good song. It's the amount of time and work you put into a song. It has to be sheen and chic.

So where do you stand in the music industry?

Are a good composer like? Mozart? 100% music theory composition and dedication to sound.

Are you cutie like? Taylor swift?

Are you great singer like the? Maroon 5, Adam Levine?

Are you a synth MONSTA like "Feed me" or Skrillex? Which by the way is lots Native of Instrument Razor and Massive automations. 

For trance? Best producer for me is? is Xilent and Seven Lions? Trance step mixture of perfect wobble, mastering, mix down, sound design, everything. Composition. Plus the sound changes through automations and other crazy DAW tricks!

Well if your none of above, it has to be catchy. You know William Hung and Psy "gang nam style"? Ugliest mutha fuckers to ever be on television or youtube. So don't despair there are many ways. As my personal opinion I would strive to be the rest. In other words it's the whole package. What your born with, how talented you are, and luck! 

If you can't make it as that? You can write children songs and video game music. If all of that doesn't work then teach music.

What about music piracy? It probably can't be stopped, but music could be heard for free from the radio, pandora, and internet radio stations. Most people can't tell difference from 128kps from 192kps bitrate anyway or 5.1 eax surround sound. Only professional sound engineers can hear the subtle differences. Most people hear 2.0 channel of sound. 

Spend lots and lots of time on the DAW. Spend lots and lots of time playing piano. Try different scales and chord progressions.

There are many ways to increase web traffic, one way is linking your website to web 2.0 such as blogs, twitter, pinterest, facebook, youtube, email, and etc. Find ways to create web links to your website. In addition, to posting on forums for visitors to check out your website. There are many ways.

Another way to increase traffic is list your website on a lot of directories. Lots of free and paid. But the most important thing is to create great content. You create great content google will index you. Creating good content takes a lot of time and effort.

But in the long run the whole point of advertising is to make money. As long as you have a good brand awareness and people like your products. You will make money.

Xilent, Seven Lions, and Nero the producers to beat!

Who is going to kill these guys as producers? I doubt anyone can hold a candle to these guys. They grew up with music playing piano and guitar.

These producers dedicate their lives to sound design (the perfect sound) and music theory (scales, chords, and arrangement). Also known as harmony.

Xilent and Seven Lions are by far my favorite music producers to this date. They are the best of chill step, progressive step love it. Their music is great. I recommend them to all listeners. This is beauty. One word to describe their genre dubstep meets trance.

Seven Lions main DAW or sequencer is FL Studios. Possibly a mixture of Cubase.

Personally love Native instruments everything.

Choice of DAW: Ableton live, Cubase, FL Studio, and Logic.

Choice of hardware synthesizers: Virus Ti

Mastering plugins: Waves, Izotope 4 or 5, or default plugs (all skills anyway)

Kick synthesizers: Microtonic

Anyways keep on trucking! This is how production goes. You need ingredients to bake a cake. Sound design, melody (music theory), automation (manipulation and character of the sound), arrangement, mixing, and mastering.
